The Federal Government of Nigeria will arraign the Ex. CBN Governor, Godwin Emiefiele and his co-associates this Thursday at the FCT High Court in Abuja.
The Former CBN Governor will be arraigned alongside a female CBN employee, Sa’adatu Yaro and her organization, April1616 Investment Limited on 20 charges of procurement fraud, conspiracy and bestowing corrupt advantages on his associates.
Emefiele, had been in detention since his suspension from office on June 9 by President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was also accused of bestowing corrupt advantages on Yaro, a director in April 1616 Investment Ltd.
This offence is contrary to section 19 of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000.
