Manchester City and Brighton Maintain Perfect Start, As Manchester United Suffer Defeat in the Premier League
Manchester City have maintained a hundred percent start to the Premier League season with two wins in two matches. The defending champions defeated Newcastle 1-0 courtesy of a Julien Alvarez goal to see off Eddie Howe’s men on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, Brighton and Hove Albion Albion trounced Wolves 4-1 at the Molineaux to move top of the Premier League table.
In Saturday’s other star fixture, Tottenham scored twice in the second half to hand Manchester United a first defeat of the season.
In Sunday fixtures, Aston Villa trashed Everton 4-0 at the Villa Park, while Chelsea lost 3-1 against West Ham at the London Olympics Stadium.
On Monday Night Football, Crystal Palace will host Arsenal at the Selhurst Park in a London derby as both teams look to maintain a perfect start to the season.
