English Premier League side, West Ham United, have agreed deals for duo of Manchester United’s Harry Maguire and Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse for a combined £60m.
Maguire, who struggled for first-team opportunities at Manchester United last season and stripped of the captaincy this season, is keen on a move away from the Old Trafford in search of regular football.
He joined United for £80m, a world record for a defender, in August 2019.
The UEFA Conference League winners have been on Ward-Prowse’s trail since Southampton relegation to the Championship last season but the Saints rebuffed their advances.
It is understood that the Hammers will pay £30m for each player.
